Michel Disdier started 18th for the ARCA Re/Max Tim Richmond Memorial 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park, in Mansfield, OH on Saturday, June 20.  After several early incidents in the race that involved Michel, he ran pushed very hard during the second half of the race and finished in 19th place.

The ARCA RE/MAX Series For 2009

May 4, 2009 - - Michel Disdier will begin his ARCA RE/MAX season at Kentucky Speedway on May 9^th with an all new look on the Bowsher Motorsports No. 21 Ford Fusion.

The first French driver since the 1960’s will compete in 10 ARCA RE/MAX Series races with Bowsher Motorsports.  Disdier who raced last year with Bowsher Motorsports at Toledo Speedway and Salem Speedway respectively is comfortable with the team and feels that his successful results are largely attributed to this team’s support and preparation.

Like other road racers before him such as Scott Speed and Juan Pablo Montoya; Disdier hopes his ARCA RE/MAX experience will lead to a NASCAR ride in the future.

Michel’s new sponsor is the French brake pad maker Carbone Lorraine whose brake pads require no break-in period.  The immediate grip of the Carbone Lorraine brake pads which are made exclusively for racing cars, insure tremendous performance stability.

This is a critical year for the man from Nice, France and he is hoping this will be the year he makes his mark in the United States and in his long sought after stock car career.
